The Evolv Defy climbing shoe is vegan friendly and has a fit that is ideal for beginners or as a first shoe after using rentals. Its breathable upper and comfortable, easy fit and adjustment make it a great choice for long sessions at the climbing wall / gym where its softer midsole make it great for volumes and slopers. The padded split tongue and two opposing strap hook and loop closure (velcro style) provides easy accessibility, swift removal and a secure fit without the need to crush your feet. More experienced climbers will enjoy the comfort and sensitivity given for longer routes outdoors and good levels of durability due to the thicker rubber rand around the toe. The synthetic upper has an antimicrobial liner to ensure lasting comfort and reduce odours, though we still recommend Boot Banana deoderizers with any rockshoe purchase (but especially synthetic shoes).Â
