The high sock replaces the need to use a separate gaiter, fitting like a gasket around your ankle with a full internal sock construction creating a unique dual system of integrated shoe and gaiter. The TWS (Tendon Wrapping System) on the outer part of the shoe creates a solid fit between foot and shoe. Add a D+ Grip Dynamic outsole with an aggressive 6mm tread and a Dual+, dual density midsole and you get the best companion for the toughest terrain.

The Dual+ Midsole is dual density system. Softer areas are next to the heel for absorption when heel striking and also next to the ground in the forefoot to help spread point pressure from rocks and roots. The midsole also has a torsion bar in the midfoot to increase support and stability while keeping the forefoot free to move and adapt to terrain changes.

Beyond that period the product is effectively a sold as seen product and cannot be returned for manufacturing defects or failures. In fact in this case there is some damage to the obvious stitch line between shoe liner and gaiter on the right shoe (could be repaired with tenacious tape).
